To make up body

Ws outermost, place body edges together so seam is running central down the back of the bear.
Sew from feet upwards, leaving the head edge open for stuffing.
Invert & stuff generously.
Sew gap closed firmly.
Using matching yarn, use gathering stitch to run around the neck, pull, fasten off & bury knot deep
within filling.

Face

Embroider facial features, as shown on photo, ensuring the stitches cannot be pulled loose. Several small sts are far better than large ones as these can trap a child's small fingers!

To make up arms

With rs outtermost, sew around 2 open edges. Stuff. Sew gap closed.
Sew the arms firmly onto both sides of the body, ensuring they cannot be pulled loose.

To make up ears

RS facing outwards, sew edges closed without stuffing.
Sew firmly onto the CORNERS of the head, ensuring they cannot be pulled loose.
